Job summary

Asquare Consulting Group is seeking an Accountant for a hands-on role in a manufacturing setup. You will handle day-to-day accounting, inventory management, reconciliations and implement accounting controls.

The ideal candidate should have manufacturing accounting exposure and be able to independently manage accounting activities with experience in Tally and inventory transactions.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• CA Inter will be preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge of inventory and manufacturing accounting.
• Hands-on experience in Tally is required.
• Knowledge of Tally Prime and Zoho will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of purchase, consumption, production, finished goods and stock accounting.
• Good knowledge of debtors, creditors, bank reconciliation and general accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage accounting activities.
• Ability to work with the audit team in implementing required controls.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle day-to-day accounting, including purchase, sales, journal, bank and other entries.
• Manage debtors and creditors, including ledger scrutiny, reconciliation and outstanding tracking.
• Handle bank accounting and bank reconciliations and resolve differences on time.
• Maintain inventory accounting in Tally for purchases, consumption, production, finished goods and stock transfers.
• Reconcile physical stock with accounting records and identify discrepancies.
• Assist audit team in implementing accounting controls identified during audits.
• Ensure established controls are followed across accounting processes.
• Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations and MIS preparation.

We are hiring an Accountant for secondment engagement, a manufacturing concern, for a hands‑on accounting role involving day‑to‑day accounting, inventory management, reconciliations and implementation of accounting controls.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical exposure to manufacturing accounting and inventory transactions, with the ability to independently manage accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle day‑to‑day accounting, including purchase, sales, journal, bank and other accounting entries.
• Manage debtors and creditors, including ledger scrutiny, reconciliation and outstanding tracking.
• Handle bank accounting and bank reconciliations and resolve differences on a timely basis.
• Maintain inventory accounting in Tally, covering purchase, material consumption, production, finished goods, stock transfers and related transactions.
• Reconcile physical/system stock with accounting records and identify discrepancies.
• Assist the audit team in implementing accounting and internal control measures identified during the audit process.
• Ensure established controls are properly followed across accounting and transaction processes.
• Assist with month‑end closing, reconciliations and preparation of MIS.
