Job summary

JobItUs in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts professional to manage day-to-day accounting, ensure compliance, and support financial planning.

You will oversee journal entries, ledgers, AP/AR, GST returns, TDS, and statutory filings, while coordinating with auditors and providing MIS insights to management.

The ideal candidate has a B.Com or equivalent, CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred, and 4–7 years in manufacturing or energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting as required.
• CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Experience in manufacturing or energy industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other regulatory reports.
• Reconcile vendor, customer, and bank accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Generate MIS reports and provide financial analysis to management.
• Support process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.
