Job summary

Aarvi Encon seeks an Accounts Manager for the hotel industry to lead finance operations on-site in Mumbai, overseeing daily bookkeeping, ledgers, and cash flow. The role requires 4–8 years in hospitality accounting and a Commerce degree, with strong Tally and ERP software skills.

You will manage accounts receivable/payable, ensure GST/TDS compliance, and deliver MIS and financial reporting to senior management, contributing to budgeting and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Commerce or related field.
• CA Inter/Final or MBA in Finance preferred.
• 4–8 years of accounting experience in hospitality/hotel.
• Hands-on with Tally and hotel PMS/ERP systems; strong Excel.

Looking for an Accounts Manager for hotel industry

Position Overview

• Department: Finance & Accounts
• Compensation: 55,000 to 65,000 per month (as specified in current hiring requirements)
• Employment Type: Full-Time / On-Site

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Bookkeeping

• Oversee and maintain day-to-day books of accounts, general ledgers, and sub-ledgers for the hotel.

• Ensure accurate daily entry and reconciliation of revenue streams, including room reservations, F&B outlets, banquets, and incidental services.
• Monitor daily cash flow, banking transactions, and petty cash management.

Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Manage corporate billing, city ledger accounts, and guest credit accounts to ensure timely collections and minimize aging receivables.
  Regency Hotel Management
• Process vendor invoices, monitor supplier statements, and execute timely disbursements while maintaining accurate accounts payable records.

Statutory & Tax Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with local taxation laws, including timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to conduct periodic financial audits and finalize annual accounts.

MIS & Financial Reporting

• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports, profit & loss statements, and budget variances for upper management.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Masters degree in Commerce (M.Com) or Chartered Accountancy (Inter/Final) / MBA (Finance).
• Experience: Minimum 4 to 8 years of solid accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality/hotel industry.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency in computerized accounting software (e.g., Tally, hotel Property Management Systems/ERP software) and advanced MS Excel skills.
