Job summary

GHD Hotels is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Manager to oversee hotel accounting, budgeting, and financial planning. You will manage daily accounting activities, revenue reconciliation, cash flow, and vendor payments, while ensuring compliance and accuracy across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and hotel PMS/POS systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Tally or equivalent accounting software and MS Excel.
• Practical knowledge of hotel budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, revenue reconciliation, cash flow, and bank transactions.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, vendor payments, and collections.
• Prepare hotel budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Monitor expenses against budgets, analyse variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyse room revenue, F&B revenue, departmental costs, and hotel profitability.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and budget variance reports.
• Coordinate payroll verification and ensure timely GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and coordinate audits and month-end closing.
• Work with Operations, Purchase, Stores, and HR to strengthen financial controls.
