Job summary

King Group Hospitality seeks an Accounts Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations across the group, ensuring accurate reporting and strict statutory compliance.

You will manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare monthly MIS, budgets and forecasts, monitor cash flow, and strengthen internal controls while coordinating with auditors and restaurant operations.

Experience in hospitality accounting and proficiency with Tally/ERP and MS Excel will be valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• CA Inter / M.Com / MBA Finance advantageous.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, F&B or multi-outlet businesses preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting practices, GST and TDS.
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP accounting systems and MS Excel.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and financial operations across King Group Hospitality, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective cash-flow management and strong financial controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, receivables, payables and cash flow.
• Conduct regular bank, ledger and balance-sheet reconciliations.

2. Hospitality / Restaurant Accounting

• Monitor daily sales and revenue reconciliation across India, UAE, Thailand, Bali restaurants and cloud kitchen along with HO.
• Reconcile POS, online delivery platforms, cash, card and digital payment collections.
• Verify outlet-wise expenses, purchases and inventory-related transactions.
• Monitor food cost, beverage cost and other operating expenses.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with operations for timely resolution.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage vendor invoices, payments and outstanding balances.
• Ensure timely customer billing and collection follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer ledgers.
• Review ageing reports and take corrective action on overdue receivables.

4. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports for management
• Provide outlet-wise profitability and financial analysis.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance reports.
• Provide management with insights on revenue, costs, margins and financial performance.

5. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants and government authorities as required.
• Maintain complete documentation and records for audits and statutory requirements.

6. Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure proper accounting documentation and supporting records.
• Strengthen financial controls and identify areas of financial risk.
• Implement processes to minimize errors, leakages and financial discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• CA Inter / M.Com / MBA Finance will be an advantage.
• 810 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, F&B or multi-outlet businesses preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting practices, GST and TDS.
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP accounting systems and MS Excel.
