Job summary

Oriens Global Marketing in Chennai seeks an experienced Manager Accounts & Finance to oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and cash flow. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, financial controls, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations, prepare financial statements and MIS, monitor cash flow, ensure timely statutory compliances, and coordinate with auditors and banks.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, with managerial exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance qualification will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency with Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and team‑management abilities.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and cash/bank transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and fund requirements.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Handle monthly closing and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reports for management.
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Review employee salary processing, reimbursements, and related accounting entries.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead, guide, and monitor the accounts and finance team.
• Support management in financial planning and business decision-making.
