Job summary

RegisterKaro is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to independently manage accounting, taxation and statutory compliance in Gurugram. The role focuses on GST, TDS, IT and financial reporting, including finalization of accounts.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of relevant experience, hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS and income tax, and familiarity with accounting software like Tally Prime or Zoho Books. On-site work in Sector 32/67, with month-end and year-end close responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified with B.Com, M.Com or CA Inter or equivalent.
• 3–6 years experience in accounting, taxation and finance.
• Experience in CA firm or compliance-based organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Handle TDS computation, payment, reconciliation and return filing.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for companies, LLPs, firms and individuals.
• Prepare financial statements: Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow and schedules.
• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, IT, PF/ESI and others.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits.
• Prepare MIS and financial reports for management.
• Stay updated with changes in taxation and accounting regulations.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Associate who can independently manage accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, financial reporting, and finalization of accounts while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Handle TDS computation, payment, reconciliation, and return filing.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for companies, LLPs, firms, and individuals.
• Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial reports, and management reports.
• Keep updated with changes in taxation and accounting regulations.

Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or an equivalent qualification.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Finance.
• Experience in a CA firm, consulting firm, or compliance-based organization will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
• Experience in preparation and finalization of financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a CA firm, consulting firm, or compliance-based organization will be preferred.
