Job summary

RegisterKaro in Gurugram is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to independently manage accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The role requires hands-on GST, TDS, Income Tax, financial reporting, and finalization of accounts while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

The successful candidate will prepare and file GST returns, handle TDS and IT returns, and maintain books of accounts. Experience in CA firms or compliance-based organizations is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Accounting, Taxation and Finance.
• Hands-on GST, TDS, and Income Tax operations.
• Experience in CA firms or compliance-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Handle TDS computation, payment, reconciliation, and return filing.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for companies, LLPs, firms, and individuals.
• Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial reports, and management reports.
• Keep updated with changes in taxation and accounting regulations.

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Finance.
• Experience in a CA firm, consulting firm, or compliance-based organization will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
• Experience in preparation and finalization of financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a CA firm, consulting firm, or compliance-based organization will be preferred.
