Job summary

BLS International in Gurugram, India, seeks an experienced accounting specialist to manage day-to-day general accounting, GST reconciliation, ITC tracking, and TDS compliance. You will oversee journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills, familiarity with ERP/accounting software, and meticulous attention to detail to meet deadlines and support auditors.

Qualifications

• Handle day-to-day general accounting activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform GST reconciliation between books and returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B) and ITC.
• Manage TDS accounting, deductions, challan verification and timely TDS filing.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day general accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and expense accounting.
• Perform GST reconciliation between books, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and purchase/sales records.
• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
• Manage TDS accounting, including deduction, reconciliation, challan verification, and timely filing of TDS returns.
• Prepare and verify GST and TDS workings and coordinate with internal teams for compliance requirements.
• Assist in monthly closing activities, including provisions, accruals, outstanding expenses, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for GST, TDS and accounting transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders for audit queries, reconciliations, and statutory requirements.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective entries.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, GST, TDS and statutory regulations.
