Job summary

Symbiosis Management Consultants is seeking a plant finance professional with SAP FI-CO expertise to manage month-end closing, budgeting, and cost analysis at the plant level with coordination to head office. The role requires interfacing with cross-functional teams and a strong focus on cost controls and reporting.

You will handle standard cost variance, inventory controls, and machine/labour rate calculations, while ensuring timely statutory audits and adherence to ITC requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience on SAP FI-CO module for 4+ years.
• Familiar with matrix reporting at plant level and head office.
• Cross-functional team exposure.
• Knowledge of machine cycle time, tool life and OEE.
• Budgeting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely accounting and month-end closing at plant level in coordination with head office.
• Monthly cost release and reporting of standard cost variance.
• Annual budgeting and monthly variance analysis of profit and loss for plant.
• Inventory controlling - reporting obsolescence, non-moving stock, cycle count validation and physical stock control.
• Annual calculation of machine hour rate / labour hour rate.
• Validate savings from cost reduction projects and seek Cost Saving opportunities.
• Daily & weekly reporting and analysis of tools, rejection, maintenance expenses, stock, sales, purchases, and gross margin.
• Act as key user and owner of master data for controlling SAP at plant.
• Follow up with vendors/customers for ITC mismatches.
• Coordinate with consultant on state government incentive schemes.
• Resolve queries across Finance & Accounts; single window for other departments.
• Support closure of statutory audits and respond to auditor queries.
