Job summary

Sita Corp Private Limited in Bangalore seeks a Plant Finance Controller to lead the plant finance and accounting function under the CFO, driving costing, budgeting, and financial controls across multi-plant operations.

You will mentor the finance team, manage month-end close, collaborate with operations to optimize working capital, ensure compliance, and deliver accurate MIS and P&L analysis. SAP FI/CO expertise is mandatory and ICWA/CMA/CA qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified ICWA/CMA or CA.
• Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing finance.
• Experience in multi-plant manufacturing operations, preferably with a listed manufacturing company.
• Proven experience in leading and managing finance teams.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, costing, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant finance and accounting function, reporting to the CFO.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the plant finance team.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports to support business planning and decision-making.
• Partner with plant operations to provide manufacturing finance support and improve operational and financial performance.
• Drive product costing, cost control, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Oversee all finance and accounting activities, including month-end and year-end financial closing.
• Prepare, review, and analyze the Plant Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.
• Monitor and manage plant cash flow and working capital in coordination with the corporate finance team.
• Oversee inventory management, inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and inventory control processes.
• Drive SAP finance processes and ensure robust system controls, data integrity, and process compliance.
• Coordinate effectively with corporate finance and plant operations to achieve financial and operational objectives.
• Support internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Drive financial discipline and operational excellence across the plant through effective planning, analysis, and governance.
