Job summary

BrightChamps is seeking an Academic Counsellor to engage US-based parents, understand their child’s learning needs, and drive enrolments through consultative counselling and high-quality sales conversations. The role runs on a night shift from Bengaluru (10:00 PM–7:00 AM IST) with 6 working days per week.

You will explain BrightChamps programs, advise learning paths, handle objections, and maintain CRM follow-ups to ensure smooth onboarding for enrolled students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Freshers with excellent communication may be considered.
• Excellent spoken and written English to communicate with US parents.

Responsibilities

• Connect with US-based parents via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and video meetings to explain BrightChamps programs.
• Understand the child’s learning level and recommend courses/learning paths.
• Convert qualified leads into enrolments by handling objections and communicating value.
• Maintain follow-up rigor using CRM tools and timely lead status updates.
• Achieve weekly and monthly revenue, conversion, and call productivity targets in a performance-driven environment.
• Collaborate with operations and academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding for enrolled students.
• Work days: 6 days a week, including weekends; Shift timing: US Shift – 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM IST.
• Laptop mandatory; candidates must have a personal laptop in good condition.

Role overview

The Academic Counsellor will connect with parents in the US market, understand their child’s learning needs, and drive enrolments for BrightChamps’ programs through consultative counselling and high-quality sales conversation

Key responsibilities

• Connect with US-based parents via outbound/inbound calls, WhatsApp, emails, and video meetings to explain BrightChamps programs.
• Understand the child’s current learning level and recommend the right courses and learning paths.
• Convert qualified leads into enrolments by handling objections and clearly communicating value and outcomes.
• Maintain follow-up rigor using CRM tools and ensure timely updates on lead status and conversions.
• Achieve weekly and monthly revenue, conversion, and call productivity targets in a performance-driven environment.
• Collaborate with operations and academic teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for enrolled students.
• Work days: 6 days a week, including Saturday and Sunday (weekday off as per business requirement).
• Shift timing: US Shift – 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM IST (night shift).
• Laptop: Laptop mandatory; candidates must have a personal laptop in good working condition.
