Job summary

Physics Wallah Pvt. Ltd. is seeking dynamic Academic Counsellors / Sales Associates to join our counselling team. You will counsel students and parents, recommend PW courses, and drive enrollments through effective follow-ups and relationship building.

Selected candidates will be mapped to NEET, JEE, or Foundation verticals based on their experience and academic understanding, working from multiple locations with a laptop and stable internet.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Strong verbal communication in Hindi and English.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in calling, counselling, telecalling, sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Prior EdTech or student counselling experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work from home with a stable internet connection and a functional laptop.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding PW courses, batches, and programs.
• Drive enrollments through inbound/outbound calls and regular follow-ups.
• Understand students' backgrounds and goals to recommend PW courses.
• Explain course structures, fees, and outcomes clearly.
• Handle queries, objections, and concerns to improve conversions.
• Maintain accurate lead details and follow-up schedules in the CRM.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counselling/enrollment targets.
• Build trustworthy relationships with students and parents.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth enrollment experience.
• Stay updated on PW offerings and exam patterns.

About the Role

Physics Wallah (PW) is looking for dynamic, target-driven, and student-focused Academic Counsellors / Sales Associates to join our counselling team.

The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, understanding their academic requirements, recommending suitable PW courses and batches, and driving enrollments through effective counselling, regular follow-ups, and relationship building.

Candidates will be mapped to a specific academic vertical NEET, JEE, or Foundation based on their experience, skills, and academic understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding PW courses, batches, and academic programs.
• Drive enrollments through inbound and outbound calls, regular follow-ups, and personalized counselling.
• Understand students academic backgrounds, learning needs, and career goals to recommend suitable courses.
• Explain course structures, features, benefits, fees, and learning outcomes clearly.
• Handle student and parent queries, objections, and concerns effectively to improve lead conversions.
• Maintain accurate lead details, call outcomes, and follow-up schedules in the CRM.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and enrollment targets.
• Build strong, trustworthy relationships with students and parents.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth enrollment experience.
• Stay updated on relevant exam patterns, syllabus changes, PW courses, and competitor offerings.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Strong verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Minimum 1 Year of experience in calling, counselling, telecalling, sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Prior experience in EdTech, student counselling, or educational sales will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of NEET UG, JEE Main & Advanced, or school-level academics is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven, high-volume calling environment.
• Willingness to work from home with a stable internet connection and a functional laptop.
