Job summary

Edwise International in Surat, Gujarat seeks Academic Counsellors to guide students through overseas education journeys. Freshers with strong interpersonal skills are welcome and will be supported to develop expertise in admissions, visa and scholarship processes.

The role involves counselling, documentation assistance, university relations and participation in education fairs to engage with prospective students and families. Strong communication and organisational abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
• Experience in overseas education, admissions, counselling, EdTech or customer counselling will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, universities, courses and career pathways.
• Guide students through the admission, application, visa and scholarship processes.
• Assist with documentation, including SOPs, LORs, resumes and financial documents.
• Advise students on scholarship opportunities, eligibility and application requirements.
• Coordinate with students, universities and internal teams to ensure timely application processing.
• Maintain accurate student records and follow up on pending documents and payments.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars and other student engagement activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students and partner institutions.
