Responsibilities

• Contact prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other channels.
• Explain course details, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.
• Follow up with enquiries and leads to convert them into admissions.
• Schedule counselling sessions, campus visits, and programme orientations.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries and admissions in the CRM or lead-tracking system.
• Coordinate with academic and admissions teams for a smooth student experience.
• Support admission campaigns and student outreach activities.
• Achieve agreed monthly counselling and admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Counsellor

• Contact prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Understand students' educational backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
• Explain course details, programme benefits, eligibility, duration, fees, and admission procedures.
• Follow up with enquiries and leads to convert them into admissions.
• Schedule counselling sessions, campus visits, and programme orientations.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM or lead-tracking system.
• Coordinate with the academic and admissions teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
• Support admission campaigns, education events, and student outreach activities.
• Achieve agreed monthly counselling and admission targets.

Who Can Apply?

• Freshers and candidates with 1-2 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, telecalling, customer service, or sales.
• Graduates from any discipline are welcome to apply.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking with students and parents over the phone and in person.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp communication.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a target-oriented approach.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates residing within approximately 15 km of our Chennai office are strongly preferred.
• Candidates who can join at short notice are welcome.
• Experience in education, training institutes, student admissions, or lead follow-up will be an advantage.
