Job summary

Heritage Madurai in India invites a creative Architect with 3–10 years of experience in architectural design, planning, and project execution to join our Architecture/Projects team. The ideal candidate will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure delivery as per design intent and timelines.

You will develop concepts, prepare drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other BIM tools, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3–10 years of relevant experience in architectural design and/or project execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other BIM/visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction materials, building systems, and execution practices.
• Good understanding of building regulations, approval processes, and construction standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, designs, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant design software.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design, and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, local regulations, safety requirements, and statutory guidelines.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, design presentations, and other project documentation as required.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, and technical submissions from contractors and vendors.
• Identify design discrepancies and resolve technical issues in coordination with the project team.
• Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and design implementation at the site.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support design modifications, value engineering, and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, approvals, and project records.
