Job summary

Clayworks Spaces Technology Pvt. Ltd. Bengaluru invites an experienced interior designer to translate client requirements into innovative workplace design solutions.

You will develop concept designs, space planning, schematic designs, and detailed drawings, coordinating with MEP and procurement to ensure seamless delivery. The role requires 4–9 years in commercial interiors, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 4–9 years of experience in commercial interiors, corporate workplace design, interior fit-outs, or architectural design.
• Strong understanding of workplace planning, space planning, design development, and execution drawings.
• Hands-on experience in taking designs from concept through execution/GFC stage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and design presentation tools.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Understand client requirements and translate them into functional and innovative workplace design solutions.

Develop concept designs, space planning, schematic designs, design development, and detailed drawings.

Prepare and review execution drawings, GFC drawings, elevations, sections, and design details.

Support client presentations and incorporate feedback into design development.

Coordinate with MEP, QS, project execution, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

Work closely with the execution team to resolve design-related queries and site issues.

Ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project execution stage.

Assist in material selection, detailing, specifications, and design documentation.

Support value engineering and cost optimization while maintaining design quality.

Coordinate with consultants and vendors to ensure design requirements are clearly communicated and implemented.

Ensure drawings and design documentation are accurate, coordinated, and issued within project timelines.

Conduct site visits and provide design inputs based on site conditions and project requirements.

Maintain design standards and contribute to improving design processes and documentation.

For Manager-level candidates, independently manage design deliverables and take ownership of design coordination across multiple projects.

Guide and support junior architects and designers as required.

Requirements
