Job summary

DosePacker LLC in Ahmedabad seeks a skilled 3D Electrical Designer / BIM Modeler to join the Engineering team. You will create comprehensive 3D models of electrical systems, translate 2D schematics into spatial BIM representations, and ensure compliance with NEC/IEC standards while generating installation drawings and BOMs from the models.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a degree in electrical engineering or drafting, and proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical 3D, EPLAN Pro

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience translating 2D schematics into 3D BIM models is preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM workflows and electrical CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of electrical systems (panels, cable trays, wire harnesses, conduits).
• Translate 2D electrical schematics and SLDs into accurate 3D spatial representations.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards (NEC, IEC, etc.) and wire bend radii.
• Extract 2D installation drawings, layout plans, and BOMs directly from 3D models.

• Extract accurate 2D installation drawings, layout plans, and Bill of Materials (BOM)/Material Take-Offs directly from the 3D models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
