Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Lead Designer (Electrical) with 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector to drive electrical design deliverables. You will develop 3D models, prepare detailed drawings, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure high-quality, construction-ready outputs.

The role requires proficiency in AVEVA Electrical and Navisworks, with experience in AutoCAD and PDMS/E3D. You will interface with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with international standards and

Qualifications

• Proficient in English (speaking and writing).
• Degree: Diploma/Bachelor in Electrical.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas or EPC environments.
• Prior work experience in EPCs, Engineering Consultancies.

Responsibilities

• Act as Lead Designer (Electrical) for FEED and detail design.
• Prepare arrangement and detail drawings for Electrical discipline.
• Develop 3D models with inter-disciplinary checks.
• Review 3D models and extract MTOs from layouts.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project specifications.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Acting as aLead Designer (Electrical) for the project.
• Prepare and develop arrangement and detail conceptual drawings for Electrical discipline
• Key Indicators FEED, studies, and detail design drawings of high technical quality and professional consistent presentation ensuring clarity and ease of construction.
• Develop 3D models maintaining inter-disciplinary checks with all other disciplines.
• Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued as per project specifications
• Study and understand the E&I design scope of work. Need to be conversant with Company and Client procedures, standards and applicable international codes and standards
• Interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs and drawings
• Should be capable of independently review 3D models, extracting cable. cable tray MTO, earthing MTO from respective layout drawings.
• Assist Discipline Lead in preparing estimates for proposals and job scope changes, including execution statements, work schedules, and man-hour requirements
• Prepare and review Discipline deliverables such as:
• 3D model
• Detailed design drawings
• As-built drawings
• MTO extraction and Preparation
• To support the import and export of reference model to PDMS / E3D from vendor inputs.
• Review of vendor drawings deliverables which are to be made in line with project requirements.
• Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in its discipline in accordance to applicable codes and standards.
• Knowledge on AVEVA Electrical , AVEVA Instrumentation will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on AutoCAD.
