Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in Mumbai to create and update electrical drawings and layouts for building systems. You will develop power, lighting, and low-voltage designs per codes while coordinating with engineers and BIM specialists.

The role requires Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit MEP proficiency, plus a strong grasp of NEC/NFPA standards and CAD/BIM modelling. On-site collaboration with project teams in Mumbai is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical design/building systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Basic knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and related electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Create and update electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, calculations, and schedules.
• Develop designs for power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems as per applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare 2D/3D electrical models using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar CAD/BIM tools.
• Coordinate with engineers and modelers for interdisciplinary design and clash resolution.
• Support construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits.
• Ensure quality, timelines, and project requirements are met.
