Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare cable tray, lighting, power, and earthing layouts.

Job description

Electrical Design engineer DE2 / DE3: BE / Diploma (Electrical) with 8+ years of experience.

• Should possess good knowledge of 3D (E3D / Open plant) & 2D (AutoCAD / MicroStation) tools.
• Understands the scope of work, Design basis, Project specification, Project documentation before commencement of work.
• Capable to prepare cable tray layouts, Lighting Layouts, Power & Earthing Layouts, Electrical Equipment Layout, etc.
• Able to prepare basic Electrical calculation like Cable sizing & tray sizing calculations, Lighting calculations.
• Knowledge of international standards like IEC, NEMA, IEEE, etc.
• Capable to lead a project independently.
• Handle a team of Junior designers and trainees.
• Interaction with client and inter disciplinary coordination.
• Good knowledge in 3D model review tool Navisworks.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal project team.
