Job summary

FinThrive, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop new features for our healthcare software, while maintaining existing products for growth. You will join a fast-paced, Azure-enabled environment with CI/CD and SCRUM practices, collaborating with an energetic team across onsite and remote roles.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in software development, strong C#, HTML/CSS, design patterns, and unit testing experience, plus effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in C#, HTML/CSS, and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing and CI practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain existing functionality.
• Communicate with team members and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Ensure unit tests are written for all new code.
• Incorporate new technologies when they add value.
• Work with support to resolve production issues.
• Provide production release support.
• Analyze defects and provide root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with onsite and remote team members.
• Contribute to delivering team commitments (dev, QA, docs).

About the Role

Impact you will make

The Software Engineer with FinThrive is responsible for the design and development of new features and tools to support our industry leading healthcare software. This position also supports and maintains existing products for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience with software development practices and patterns, as well as direct experience building and deploying applications on the Azure cloud. Experience working in a forward‑looking, fast‑paced environment that embraces continuous integration, and agile (SCRUM) development practices is critical. You will collaborate on a high energy team that provides an opportunity for flexibility of responsibility, schedule and location.

What you will do

• Develop new features and the maintenance and enhancements of existing functionality
• Communicate effectively with team members and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Ensure unit tests written for all new code
• Seek opportunities to incorporate new technologies into the product’s technology stack when they can add value
• Work directly with support organizations to resolve production issues
• Provide production release support
• Provide application support by analyzing defects, replicating/fixing defects and providing root cause analysis for defects
• Demonstrate ability to work with team members, onsite as well as remote
• Participate in delivering team commitments, dev, QA, documentation, etc.

What you will bring

• 3+ years of experience in Software Development
• Experience in developing software in an Agile environment
• Experience with the following:
• C#
• HTML / CSS
• OOD, Design Patterns, e.g., Inversion of Control
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, MSTEst, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Strong desire to collaborate with team members
