Job summary

Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a Boiler Operator to manage loading of biomass fuel and water into the boiler, monitor performance, and support maintenance activities on site.

You will ensure safe start-up and shutdown, adjust controls for biomass fuel, water, and steam systems, and uphold HSSE/EHS standards across project sites while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Responsible for loading fuel and water into the boiler.
• Ensure safe start-up and shutdown of boilers and auxiliaries.
• Maintain optimal boiler operation and adjust controls for biomass fuel, water, compressors and steam.
• Handover equipment for maintenance and take over after maintenance.
• Observe panel meters to verify operation of automatic combustion control systems.
• Maintain secrecy of database, technological initiatives and business plans of the Company.
• Monitor HSSE / EHS standards of Project Sites in consultation with Sites in Charge and as per Company Policy.
• Any task assigned by Management.

Responsibilities

Job description

1. Basic Function

a) Responsible for the loading of the fuel & water into the boiler.

2. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• a) Responsible for safe shut down and start-up of boilers & boiler auxiliaries. To make sure that the boilers are operating at an optimal condition and adjust the controls of Biomass fuel, water, compressors and steam.
• b) Handing over of equipment for maintenance & inspection and taking over after maintenance.
• c) Observes pressure, temperature, and draft meters on panel to verify specified operation of automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators.
• d) Ensure secrecy of database, technological initiatives and business plans of the Company
• e) Monitoring and supervision of insurances.
• f) Ensure secrecy of database, technological initiatives and business plans of the Company.
• g) Monitor HSSE / EHS standards of Project Sites in consultation with Sites in Charge and as per Company Policy
• h) Any task assigned by Management.
