Job summary

Precise Chemipharma Pvt Ltd is hiring a Boiler Operator to operate, start-up, monitor and shut down high-pressure steam boilers, ensuring continuous steam supply to production lines, cleanrooms, and HVAC systems. You will track key process parameters, perform water testing, and manage water treatment chemicals to prevent scale and corrosion.

The role includes routine maintenance, coordination with engineering teams during major breakdowns, and strict adherence to IBR, Factory Act, and EHS

Qualifications

• Operate, start-up, monitor, and shut down high-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary systems per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform regular boiler feed water, blowdown, and condensate testing (pH, Total Dissolved Solids/TDS, hardness, and chemical residuals).
• Comply with statutory requirements under the Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), Factory Act, and EHS guidelines; maintain shift logbooks and water-testing charts.

Responsibilities

• Operate, start-up, monitor, and shut down high-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary systems per SOPs.
• Continuously track critical parameters including steam pressure, temperature, water levels, drum level, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure a reliable, continuous steam supply to production lines, cleanrooms, and HVAC systems.
• Perform regular boiler feed water, blowdown, and condensate testing.
• Calculate, mix, and dose water treatment chemicals to prevent scaling and corrosion.
• Manage water softener regeneration cycles and effluent discharges.
• Conduct routine checks on boiler mountings, boiler feed pumps (BFP), draft fans, and fuel/condensate lines.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, lubrication, and immediate repairs of minor leaks or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams during major breakdowns or statutory overhauls.
• Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, test safety valves/low-water cut-offs, and participate in GMP/safety audits.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
• Conduct routine checks on boiler mountings, boiler feed pumps (BFP), draft fans, and fuel/condensate lines.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, lubrication, and immediate repairs of minor leaks or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams during major breakdowns or statutory overhauls.
• Compliance, Safety & Documentation:
• Comply with statutory requirements under the Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), Factory Act, and EHS guidelines.
• Maintain accurate shift logbooks, utility consumption records, and water-testing charts for audits.
• Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, test safety valves/low-water cut-offs, and participate in GMP/safety audits.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
