Role Overview

As our 2D Event Illustrator, you will be the artistic backbone of our event concepts. You’ll transform abstract themes into visual narratives—from initial pitch sketches and key visuals to print-ready assets for mega-events, music festivals, trade shows, and brand activations. You’ll work alongside spatial designers, art directors, and event producers to ensure every physical touchpoint tells a cohesive, beautiful story.

Key Responsibilities

• Hero Artwork & Key Visuals: Craft core event illustrations, hero artwork, and visual motifs that set the aesthetic theme for client pitches and live events.
• Environmental & Collateral Graphics: Design custom illustrations for large-format prints, stage backdrops, entrance arches, LED screen loops, wayfinding maps, badges, and guest swag.
• Rapid Concept Sketching: Generate quick digital storyboards, character/mascot concepts, and mood illustrations during brainstorming sessions and client proposals.
• Print & Production Readiness: Prepare vector and raster files for production—ensuring proper color profiles (CMYK/RGB), bleed lines, aspect ratios, and high-resolution scaling for giant surfaces.
• Brand Adaptability: Effortlessly adapt your artistic style to match diverse client brand guidelines—ranging from sleek and corporate to bold, painterly, or illustrative.
• (Bonus) Live Event Scribing: (If skilled) Participate in live digital sketching or visual note-taking during conference sessions and guest interactive activations.

The Ideal Candidate

What we’re looking for

• Fluent across multiple illustration styles (vector flat-art, isometric layouts, detailed digital painting, and custom typography).
• Master of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate; deep understanding of vector vs. raster workflows.
• Knows how graphics translate from a laptop screen to massive physical structures without losing fidelity or legibility.
• Thrives under fast event production timelines, delivering quality art even when project parameters change overnight.
