Senior Scientist, API Manufacturing Science
Job summary
A global healthcare leader is seeking a Senior Scientist – Manufacturing Science in Kinsale, Ireland. The role demands a PhD and 3+ years of relevant experience in API manufacturing or quality control. You will execute technical projects to improve processes and provide support for the production of life-saving medicines. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for delivering results within a collaborative team environment. This position may involve domestic and international travel.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in API Manufacturing, TS/MS, Quality Control, or similar.
- Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing environment and terminology.
- Demonstrated basic knowledge in small molecule API Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the manufacture of API products.
- Execute technical projects to enhance process performance.
- Develop metrics to assess process variability.
- Analyze data and maintain documentation.
