Job summary

MSL Motor Group, Ireland's flag-bearer for Mercedes-Benz, seeks a Workshop Controller for its North Dublin dealership. You will oversee daily workshop operations, maximise throughput, ensure adherence to manufacturer guidelines, and lead a skilled service team to uphold top-tier service standards.

Initially based at the North Circular Road site, you will move in Q3 2026 to the new flagship dealership at North City Business Park, playing a central role in this landmark MAR20X rollout.

Qualifications

• Automotive technical qualification.
• Proven experience in workshop leadership or coordination—ideally with a premium brand.
• Strong knowledge of workshop processes, diagnostics, and quality control.
• Excellent organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and confident communication with customers, technicians, and suppliers.
• IT literacy (MS Office, Dealer Management Systems, diagnostic platforms).

Responsibilities

• Organise and schedule all workshop activities for maximum efficiency.
• Allocate work to technicians based on skills and workload.
• Monitor quality, complete final inspections, and resolve technical concerns.
• Support diagnostic work and advise on complex repairs.
• Coordinate with service advisors to manage customer requirements and updates.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead, develop, and motivate your technical team to deliver exceptional performance.
