Job summary

Fota Island Resort is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Server to join our on-site team in Foaty, Co. Cork. The role is Monday to Friday, casual/part-time, with opportunities across breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquets.

You will deliver exceptional service in a luxury resort setting and work closely with the kitchen and events teams. We value friendly, punctual staff who communicate well, are well presented, and eager to learn hospitality skills.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable and welcoming to guests.
• Fluent English is essential for this position.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and drinks to hotel standards.
• Provide attentive, personalised service throughout guests’ visits.
• Know menus, ingredients and daily specials; advise on dietary needs.
• Assist with events, weddings, meetings and conferences.
