Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd at Fota Island Resort, Co. Cork, Ireland, is recruiting a General Operative to join our hospitality team. The role covers kitchen, dining, events, and office support, with Monday to Friday day shifts and occasional weekend work.

You will assist with refuse recycling, stock deliveries, rotation, keg room upkeep, loading bay, and delivering orders across the resort. Good communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential, with a willingness to adapt to hotel

• Ability to adapt to hotel specific processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with refuse recycling.
• Receiving, checking and storing of stock deliveries when needed.
• Assisting with stock rotation.
• Maintaining and cleaning of Keg Rooms.
• Ensuring empty kegs and crates are wrapped and ready for collection.
• Maintaining and cleaning of Outside Loading Bay.
• Delivery of orders to all departments across the resort.
• Assisting with delivery and removal of furniture or other items from all departments as required.
• Assisting with any other adhoc duties as assigned by the management team.

This position is Monday to Friday day shifts, with the occasional requirement to work weekends.
