Job summary

Culligan Home in Ireland seeks a Technical Training and Quality Manager to lead training, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across field service operations. You’ll ensure technicians are skilled, safe, and compliant, reporting to the Operations Manager in a hybrid Claregalway role.

You will drive SOPs, coaching programs, and product updates while maintaining quality metrics, KPIs, and customer satisfaction at the core of service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in water treatment, HVAC, or plumbing-related field service roles.
• Proven experience in technical training and quality management.
• Strong knowledge of water softeners, filtration systems, well water and plumbing systems.
• Certification in plumbing, water treatment, or a relevant field preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
• Competence with field service software, CRM tools, and MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and improve technical training programs for field technicians.
• Lead onboarding and competency development for installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Support rollout of new products, technologies, and service processes through training and coaching.
• Conduct field audits, ride-alongs, and quality inspections for workmanship and safety.
• Analyze service data, technician performance, and KPI trends for improvements.
• Develop and maintain technician scorecards, training records, and quality metrics.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety, plumbing, environmental, and quality standards.
• Create, review, and update SOPs and training materials.
• Act as technical escalation point for complex field service issues.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Inventory and Routing teams for efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for training and product updates.
• Identify skills gaps and implement coaching and development plans.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on quality and first-time fix.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, safety, and learning.
