Job summary

NCH in Ireland is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service and maintain water treatment equipment across pharma, food & beverage, dairy, brewing, and general manufacturing sectors. You'll conduct testing, sampling and environmental hygiene tasks, travel as needed, and build strong customer relationships.

You will receive comprehensive training, a company vehicle and tools; a flexible field-based role with career progression and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proactive, results-driven, able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Travel flexibility with occasional overnight stays and out-of-hours work.
• Water treatment, engineering, plumbing or electrical experience desirable with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service water treatment equipment like softeners and dosing systems.
• Conduct water sampling, analytical testing and environmental hygiene monitoring.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, flushing and descaling of water systems, tanks and cooling towers.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting to customers.
• Manage equipment, PPE and company vehicle to high standards.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and in line with standards.
