Job summary

NCH Europe, within Chem-Aqua’s water treatment division, is expanding its Sales & Service team across Ireland. This role focuses on developing new business, supporting customers, and delivering tailored water treatment solutions.

You will identify opportunities for product sales and long-term service contracts, aiming to meet sales targets while building lasting customer relationships. A proactive, resilient approach and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Background in chemistry / chemical engineering or similar is required.
• Sales and technical background to demonstrate at interview.
• Experience in water treatment or wastewater treatment is advantageous.
• Previous customer-facing sales or technical role with strong communication.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a drive to succeed.
• Persistence, resilience and willingness to learn.
• Long-term career interest in water treatment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, tablets and mobile tech.
• Full driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and support existing customers in your territory.
• Deliver exceptional service and grow revenue across Ireland.
• Identify, develop, and convert opportunities for product sales and long-term service contracts.
• Achieve sales targets, customer acquisition, and contract renewals.
• Build long-term relationships to drive satisfaction, retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and support teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Ensure service activities and CRM records comply with company policies.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental standards.
