Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Capture Management Lead within its Water Strategy & Growth team. This leadership role drives strategic growth and secures enterprise-level opportunities (£25m+ revenue) across the Water sector, reporting to the Strategy & Growth Director for Water.

You will shape capture strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and foster client relationships while leveraging global resources. The role offers flexible remote/virtual work and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in capture strategy development within a consultancy.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary pursuit teams across locations.
• Proven ability to deliver client-centric value propositions.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, delivery partners and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise critical pursuits (ECP/Tier 2) from start to submission.
• Develop win strategies and client positioning for major opportunities.
• Manage budgets, governance, and team composition for pursuits.
• Coordinate cross-region collaboration to align with growth goals.
• Coach content writers and ensure compliant, persuasive proposals.
