Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end water bid processes, shaping proposals that address climate, water scarcity and energy transitions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage large-scale bids, and drive best practices across the Water team in the UK & Ireland.

You will work within a hybrid model, engaging with senior leaders and delivery teams to ensure compliant, compelling submissions and a focus on continuous improvement through debriefs and lessons

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary bids from capture to lessons learned.
• Ability to craft win strategies and themes for compelling bid responses.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage large/complex proposals across departments and regions.
• Oversee win strategy workshops and capture activities with leadership.
• Create compliant, high-quality bids using standard processes and templates.
• Lead bid stages: kickoff, answer planning, reviews, production, interviews.
