Job summary

Excel Recruitment is partnering with a Dublin-based transport and logistics client to recruit a Warehouse Manager for a permanent role in Dublin 11. The role requires strong leadership, WMS proficiency, and proven 3PL and stock management experience.

You will oversee daily warehouse operations, drive efficiency, manage a team, and ensure compliance with H&S standards while coordinating with customers, suppliers and finance on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' warehouse management experience.
• Experience in a large, busy warehouse environment.
• Strong 3PL and stock management experience.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, productivity and costs.
• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team.
• Plan shifts and manage day-to-day operational requirements.
• Manage relationships with customers, suppliers and logistics partners.
• Monitor KPIs, costs, margins and overall warehouse performance.
• Oversee accurate customer invoicing and revenue opportunities.
• Manage stock levels, inventory control and warehouse accuracy.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse security and housekeeping.
• Ensure accurate measurement and recording of incoming freight.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations.
• Manage third-party warehouse stock when required.
• Work closely with senior management and finance on operational performance.

Excel Rercruitment is thrilled to be partnering with our client, a well-known Transport and Logistics business based in Dublin 11, who is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team.

This Warehouse Manager position is an ideal fit for someone with previous warehouse management experience, including customs clearance, H&S management, use of WMS, and personnel management.
