Job summary

Primtac Personnel LTD in Dublin 11 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations at a busy depot. You will oversee daily warehousing activities, drive efficiency, and uphold safety and service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, stock control expertise, and experience with WMS systems such as Azyra. You will coordinate with internal teams and manage invoicing and revenue opportunities.

Job description

Our well-established client in Dublin 11 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations a busy Depot in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of the warehouse, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and performance while supporting profitability across the business.

The Role

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, cost control, budget compliance, and customer satisfaction.


• Plan and manage shift operations in line with business needs and senior management requirements.


• Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams to maximise performance, productivity, and safety compliance.


• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including UK operations and Customs Clearance teams.


• Maintain strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.


• Work closely with the Head of Finance to review monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, analysing costs, margins, and profitability and addressing any issues identified.


• Ensure accurate monthly invoicing for all warehouse customers and maximise revenue opportunities.


• Maintain all warehouse security procedures and controls.


• Take full responsibility for Health & Safety on site, ensuring compliance, accurate record keeping, and continuous improvement.


• Ensure warehouse and yard areas meet high housekeeping standards.


• Oversee accurate measuring and cubing of inbound freight and ensure documentation is updated accordingly.


• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective people management across the operation.


• Support operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.


• Manage stock held in third-party warehouses, where required.
