Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead to join a busy distribution operation in Baldonnel, Dublin. The role focuses on daily coordination and supervision of warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient, accurate handling of inventory and timely customer order fulfilment.

You will lead warehouse operatives, manage daily workflows, stock accuracy, Health & Safety, and overall operational performance, while coaching and developing staff and driving

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory/team-lead role.
• Experience within a high-volume distribution environment desirable.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in a warehouse.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and performance data.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and develop a team of warehouse operatives.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities across goods receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory control.
• Plan workloads and allocate resources to meet daily operational requirements.
• Ensure productivity, accuracy and order fulfilment targets are achieved.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including order accuracy, pick rates, productivity and on-time dispatch.
• Identify performance issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, SOPs and warehouse standards.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure team members are competent in their duties.
• Support the ongoing development and progression of warehouse employees.
• Monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and support stock takes and cycle counts.
• Work closely with Warehouse Managers, transport teams and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Support the reduction of operational costs and process inefficiencies.
• Provide hands-on support to the warehouse team when required.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead to join one of our client's distribution teams based in Baldonnel, Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of warehouse activities, ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate handling of inventory and timely fulfilment of customer orders.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for warehouse operatives, daily workflows, stock accuracy, Health & Safety and operational performance.
