Job summary

Noel Group in Dublin North is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehousing operations, ensure efficiency, accuracy and safety, and drive customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage staff, coordinate with transport and customs, oversee stock control, invoicing accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives across a busy distribution facility in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proven stock management and inventory control experience.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Cross-docking experience is essential.

• Organise and oversee shift activities and support senior management requests.
• Lead, motivate, train and develop warehouse staff to maximise productivity and safety.

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Dublin North

Salary: €45,000 – €50,000 (DOE)

Days of work: Monday – Friday

Company Overview

A well-established logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations within a busy distribution facility. The business provides a range of logistics solutions, including road freight, warehousing, freight forwarding, customs services, and international transport across Ireland, the UK, and global markets.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, customer satisfaction, and compliance across all warehouse activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, budget compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Organise and oversee shift activities and support senior management requests as required.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop warehouse staff to maximise productivity and maintain safety standards.
• Manage relationships between the warehouse operation and other business departments, including transport and customs functions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Work closely with the finance team to review monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, analysing costs, margins, profitability, and operational performance.
• Ensure accurate customer invoicing and identify opportunities to maximise warehouse revenue.
• Maintain warehouse security procedures and controls.
• Take responsibility for Health & Safety standards, compliance, record keeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out professionally and resources are utilised effectively.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout warehouse and yard areas.
• Oversee the accurate measurement and cubing of freight and ensure documentation is updated accordingly.
• Support operational improvement projects and service enhancement initiatives.
• Manage inventory held at third-party warehouse locations when required.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proven experience in stock management and inventory control.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Previous cross-docking experience is essential and candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: €45,000 – €50,000 depending on experience.

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• No regular weekend or bank holiday work required

Overtime Rates:

• Time and a half for Saturdays
• Double time for Bank Holidays if required
