Job summary

Citco is seeking an experienced strategy and operations professional to drive operating model and product changes within its Private Assets team in Dublin. The role centers on end-to-end process redesign, client-facing support, and cross-functional collaboration across IT, Transformation Office and client teams.

You will document current processes, quantify change impact, and write requirements for delivery while ensuring adoption and trained handover.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional accounting designation preferred.

Responsibilities

About The Team & Business Line

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Strategic Operations is a dedicated function within Private Assets, created to take the development and delivery burden off Operations and to close the gap between project design and operational adoption — by making both the responsibility of the same people. The team owns transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, operational initiatives and implementation support, rather than relying on already stretched BAU teams and SMEs.

The team is organised into three delivery pods across two remits. EVP 1 — Operating Model & Product covers Pod A (Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions). EVP 2 — Technology, Data & Delivery covers Pod B (Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement) and Pod C (Digital Workflow, Automation & AI). Business analysis and implementation capability is embedded in every pod rather than centralised, with EVP 2 owning the standards for requirements, testing, cutover and benefits tracking.

This role sits in Pod A — Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions, which redesigns how a service runs end to end and carries that design through to adoption, and which carries the Operations voice into client pitches, POCs and our marquee client relationships — including assessing where a solution built for one client can be reused across the wider book.

The group works in close partnership with Operations, the Transformation Office, IT, Tactical Operations and our Marquee Client teams. Roles are offered on both a permanent basis and as approximately 12-month rotational assignments, and are anchored in our strategic locations. Rotational colleagues join from the business, shape the change, and return to the line owning the delivery with broader project experience behind them.

Responsibilities

Your Role

You will deliver operating model and product change from the problem, through testing, to deployment and adoption.

• Document current state end to end, identify root causes, and design the target state process.
• Build the case for change — quantifying effort, risk and benefit in terms the business recognises.
• Write and agree business requirements with IT, the Transformation Office and the relevant pods, and support them through build and delivery.
• Design, plan and execute testing, including UAT, and manage defect resolution through to sign‑off.
• Contribute operational input to client pitches, POCs and presentations, and translate client requirements into an operational design that can be built and run.
• Support implementation of fund structures, new client setups, complex client transitions and onboarding on our accounting platforms, alongside Client Integration.
• Work directly with Operations teams to make sure change is understood, trained out and genuinely adopted.
• Assess where a redesign or client solution delivered once can be applied more widely, and document the case.
• Produce project documentation, status reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications

About You

You have 8+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations, at a fund administrator, fund manager or comparable environment.

• Hands‑on experience of process improvement, system implementation or project delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge of private assets processes — general ledger, capital activity, fee and waterfall calculations, financial statements and investor reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate data and evidence a recommendation.
• Confident in front of a client, and comfortable explaining operational constraints clearly.
• Project management skills with attention to detail and a proven ability to multi‑task.
• Confident engaging both operational teams and technology partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel); familiarity with reporting, workflow or automation tooling an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional accounting designation is preferred.
