Job summary

Citco is a global leader in fund services, corporate governance and related asset services, with a presence in Dublin and around the world. This role sits in Strategic Operations, Pod B, focusing on data, reporting and platform enablement to drive client solutions and operational adoption.

We seek an experienced professional with 8+ years in private assets accounting or operations, strong data skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from requirement through deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations.
• Hands-on experience in reporting build, data analysis or platform delivery.
• Strong knowledge of private assets processes and underlying data.
• Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional accounting designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data, reporting and platform change from requirements to deployment and adoption.
• Define and document data/reporting requirements with IT and the Transformation Office.
• Support platform changes, lead UAT and defect resolution.
• Produce outputs to evidence problems and benefits of changes.
• Coordinate across pods and operational teams to ensure adoption.
• Create project documentation and status reports.

About The Team & Business Line

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Strategic Operations is a dedicated function within Private Assets, created to take the development and delivery burden off Operations and to close the gap between project design and operational adoption — by making both the responsibility of the same people. The team owns transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, operational initiatives and implementation support, rather than relying on already stretched BAU teams and SMEs.

The team is organised into three delivery pods across two remits. EVP 1 — Operating Model & Product covers Pod A (Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions). EVP 2 — Technology, Data & Delivery covers Pod B (Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement) and Pod C (Digital Workflow, Automation & AI). Business analysis and implementation capability is embedded in every pod rather than centralised, with EVP 2 owning the standards for requirements, testing, cutover and benefits tracking.

This role sits in Pod B — Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement, which sets out Operations’ requirements with IT and the Transformation Office and delivers alongside them.

The group works in close partnership with Operations, the Transformation Office, IT, Tactical Operations and our Marquee Client teams. Roles are offered on both a permanent basis and as approximately 12-month rotational assignments, and are anchored in our strategic locations. Rotational colleagues join from the business, shape the change, and return to the line owning the delivery with broader project experience behind them.

Responsibilities

Your Role

You will deliver data, reporting and platform change from requirement definition through testing to deployment and adoption.

• Define and document Operations’ data and reporting requirements, and agree them with IT and the Transformation Office.
• Support platform change through build, and own the Operations-side test strategy including UAT and defect resolution.
• Build the data and reporting outputs needed to evidence a problem and measure the benefit of a change.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, tracing them to source rather than correcting downstream.
• Support implementation of platform change across fund structures, new client setups and transitions.
• Work with Pods A and C where their delivery depends on a data or reporting capability.
• Work directly with Operations teams to make sure change is understood, trained out and genuinely adopted.
• Produce project documentation, status reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications

About You

You have 8+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations, with hands‑on exposure to data, reporting or platform work.

• Hands‑on experience of reporting build, data analysis, system implementation or project delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge of private assets processes and the data that underpins them.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate large data sets and evidence a recommendation.
• Project management skills with attention to detail and a proven ability to multi‑task.
• Confident engaging both operational teams and technology partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel); familiarity with reporting, workflow or automation tooling an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional accounting designation is preferred.
