Job summary

Citco is seeking a skilled Strategic Operations professional to help redesign operating models and product changes across client solutions within Private Assets. You will lead analysis, testing, and implementation tasks with hands-on ownership, collaborating with IT and the Transformation Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; working towards a professional accounting designation an advantage.
• 4+ years' experience in private assets accounting or operations, at a fund administrator, fund manager or comparable environment.
• Solid technical knowledge of private assets processes - general ledger, capital activity, fee calculations, financial statements and investor reporting.
• Exposure to process improvement, system testing or project work, or a clear appetite to move in that direction.
• Comfortable engaging both operational teams and technology partners.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate data and evidence a recommendation.
• Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage several pieces of work at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel); exposure to reporting, workflow or automation tooling an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Map current state processes, gather data and evidence where the friction and cost actually sit.
• Support the design of target state processes, controls and handoffs.
• Draft business requirements and supporting documentation for review with IT and the Transformation Office.
• Build and execute test scripts, run UAT cycles and track defects through to resolution.
• Document client‑specific processes and requirements, and evidence where they differ from our standard model.
• Prepare analysis and materials to support client pitches, POCs and solution design.
• Support implementation of fund structures, new client setups, onboarding and transitions on our accounting platforms.
• Maintain the reuse inventory - what was built, for whom, and who else could benefit.
• Prepare training material and support Operations teams through go‑live and into adoption.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers and status reporting.

About The Team & Business Line

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Strategic Operations is a dedicated function within Private Assets, created to take the development and delivery burden off Operations and to close the gap between project design and operational adoption - by making both the responsibility of the same people. The team owns transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, operational initiatives and implementation support, rather than relying on already stretched BAU teams and SMEs.

The team is organised into three delivery pods across two remits. EVP 1 - Operating Model & Product covers Pod A (Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions). EVP 2 - Technology, Data & Delivery covers Pod B (Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement) and Pod C (Digital Workflow, Automation & AI). Business analysis and implementation capability is embedded in every pod rather than centralised, with EVP 2 owning the standards for requirements, testing, cutover and benefits tracking.

This role sits in Pod A - Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions, which redesigns how a service runs end to end and carries that design through to adoption, and which carries the Operations voice into client pitches, POCs and our marquee client relationships - including assessing where a solution built for one client can be reused across the wider book.

Responsibilities

Your Role
