Job summary

Charles Hurst is recruiting a Used Car Sales Manager to lead the Usedirect Ireland sales team, drive performance, and support the rollout of emerging brands within the Lookers group. Based in Ireland, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching Sales Executives to achieve targets.

You will oversee stock management, pricing, process compliance and cross-channel customer interactions, while collaborating with senior leaders to deliver strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in used car sales management within the motor trade.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach a team.
• Commercially minded with a track record of achieving targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the used car sales team to meet volume, margin and customer satisfaction targets.
• Manage stock acquisition, pricing and presentation to maximise profitability.
• Support the development and rollout of emerging brands within the group.
• Coach and develop Sales Executives to improve capability and performance.
• Oversee customer interactions across email, phone and in person.
• Ensure a smooth, compliant sales process and documentation standards.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager and leadership to deliver strategic objectives.
