Job summary

GitLab is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales team. As a BDR, you will lead outbound outreach to targeted accounts in your territory (Turkey/Balkans) and collaborate with Field, Digital Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to generate qualified meetings and pipeline for GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.

We provide extensive onboarding and training, with you working 100% remotely.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Turkish.
• Experience in outbound sales development in tech industry.
• Strong phone skills and excellent listening and writing abilities.
• Ability to manage a high volume of outreach and follow through.
• Proven initiative and independent project driving.
• Alignment with GitLab values.
• Knowledge of business processes and org structures.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Sales Navigator and Outreach.
• Willingness to travel for events.
• English proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting to generate meetings and pipeline in territory.
• Generate new logo opportunities and growth in existing accounts.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand needs and qualify opportunities.
• Meet targets for SAOs via qualified prospects.
• Research and prioritize target accounts and develop outreach strategies.
• Execute multi-touch outreach using call, email, social.
• Manage and report prospecting activities and pipeline in Salesforce.
• Collaborate across teams and attend regional events to drive leads.
• Document and improve BDR processes and mentor new hires.
