Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Engineer (Transportation) for Dublin or Dundalk, Ireland. You will plan and design transport schemes across road, rail and active travel, contributing to EIAR and statutory processes while supporting contract documentation and administration.

The role calls for consultancy experience, a Level 8/9 engineering degree, and progress toward Chartered Engineer status. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or OpenRoads is welcome.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
• Educated to degree level in engineering (Level 8/9).
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Bentley OpenRoads is desirable.
• Knowledge of design standards and translating them into buildable designs.
• Experience in planning and design of transportation schemes in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design road, rail, public transport and active travel projects.
• Input to EIAR, CPO and statutory processes.
• Prepare contract documents and administer procurement.
• Oversee construction supervision and contract administration.
• Contribute to reports and design documentation.
