Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Engineer to support planning and design of transport projects in Ireland, based in Dublin or Dundalk. The role involves working within our Transportation practice as part of a collaborative team, taking on responsibility and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate has a consultancy background, a degree in engineering (Level 8/9), and Chartered status, with demonstrated experience in road/rail/public transport projects and leading

Qualifications

Experience in a consultancy environment.
Degree in engineering (Level 8/9).
Chartered Engineer.
Experience in planning and design of transportation schemes (Ireland preferred).
Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams and securing new commissions.

Responsibilities

Manage planning and design of road, rail, public transport and active travel projects.
Input to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO) and procurement processes.
Prepare contract documents and administer contracts.
Oversee construction supervision and commercial management.
Lead multi-disciplinary design teams and grow project opportunities.
