Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Transportation team in Ireland, based in Dublin or Dundalk. You will work on planning and design of road, rail and active travel schemes, and contribute to statutory processes, procurement, contract documents and construction supervision.

You should have a degree in engineering (Level 8/9), experience in consultancy, and be working towards Chartered Engineer status. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads is desirable.

Qualifications

Relevant consultancy experience.
Engineering degree (Level 8/9).
Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads is desirable.
Knowledge of design standards and translating into buildable designs.
Experience planning and designing transportation schemes in Ireland including feasibility studies, design, statutory processes, contract documents and supervision.
Ability to oversee design production and report writing.

Responsibilities

Plan and design road, rail, public transport and active travel projects across Ireland.
Input to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO etc), procurement and contract documents.
Provide contract administration and construction supervision.
