Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland is seeking an Associate Engineer with experience in planning and design of road, rail, and public transport projects. The role is based in Dublin or Dundalk and involves contributing to all stages of transport schemes.

You will manage multidisciplinary design teams, support procurement, prepare contract documents, provide construction supervision and commercial management, and contribute to EIAR and CPO processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant consultancy experience.
• Degree in engineering (Level 8/9).
• Chartered Engineer.
• Experience in planning and design of transportation schemes.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to grow a team and win new commissions.
• Experience developing tender proposals.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and design of road, rail, public transport and active travel projects in Ireland.
• Input to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO etc).
• Procurement processes, preparation of contract documents, contract administration, construction supervision and commercial management.
