AECOM in Dublin is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join our Transportation team in delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure projects that shape Ireland's transport landscape. You will play a leading role in the design and delivery of projects across roads, rail, public transport, greenways, and enabling works, working alongside a collaborative and innovative team.

Qualifications

• Irish National Framework Qualification Level 8 (Honours Degree) or higher in Civil Engineering.
• Degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered Engineer status or progress toward it is highly desirable.
• 5–9 years of experience delivering major roads, major public transport, light rail, or enabling works.
• Proven track record of leading project teams and delivering projects to programme and budget.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and European design standards, planning processes, and statutory requirements.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate design packages on complex infrastructure programmes.
• Manage and lead a diverse range of major infrastructure projects.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet AECOM quality standards, on time and on budget.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and review outputs from other disciplines.
• Engage with clients, local authorities and stakeholders, guiding them through technical challenges.
• Coach junior engineers and contribute to AECOM’s culture of growth.
• Lead project teams, ensuring technical excellence and quality outcomes.
• Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and design submissions to Irish and European standards.
• Act as primary contact for clients, contractors and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication.
• Drive planning applications, tender documentation, and construction supervision activities.
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to inform design and construction processes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements across all phases.
• Support resource planning, programme management and risk mitigation.
