Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior/Principal Project Engineer to join our Transportation team in Dublin. You will lead design and delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across roads, rail, public transport, and greenways, collaborating with a large, talented team.

You will drive design excellence, guide junior engineers, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure projects meet Irish/European standards, budgets and timelines, with Chartered pathways and training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 7 to 12 years' relevant experience in the design and delivery of major roads, major public transport, light rail, rail, or enabling works projects.
• Proven track record of leading project teams and delivering projects to programme and budget.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and European design standards, planning processes, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and coordinating design packages on complex infrastructure programmes.
• Manage and lead on a diverse range of major Infrastructure projects.
• Oversee preparation of project documentation, technical reports, and design submissions.
