Job summary

Northern Trust is a global leader in wealth management, asset servicing and fund administration seeking an Analyst in Transfer Agency in Ireland. The role supports TA Dealing activities, client and investor reporting, and day-to-day operational processes within a multi-location team.

You will work under the Dealing Manager, contribute to a strong risk and control environment, adhere to procedures, and collaborate with colleagues across Transfer Agency, Investor Services, Registration and Finance

Qualifications

• Experience within Transfer Agency, Fund Administration or Financial Services is beneficial but not essential.
• Relevant third-level qualification is desirable.
• Good accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and elevate appropriately.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Good numerical and verbal reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned TA Dealing activities accurately and within agreed timeframes, in accordance with established procedures and controls.
• Support the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely client and operational reporting, including prediction, cash and register reporting.
• Monitor assigned workflow queues and outstanding items, escalating priorities, exceptions or potential processing issues when required.
• Ensure assigned client and operational deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed service expectations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date operating procedures, checklists and supporting documentation.
• Complete required data protection and communication checks, ensuring external communications are issued in accordance with applicable TA procedures and controls.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Transfer Agency, including New Business, Investor Services, Registration and Finance, as well as relevant internal teams.
• Support business, operational and change initiatives, working with the Dealing team and internal departments as required.
• Respond to client and investor queries accurately and within agreed service expectations, escalating where appropriate.
• Identify processing issues and exceptions, supporting their timely investigation, resolution and escalation.
• Contribute to a strong risk and control environment through adherence to established procedures, controls and escalation requirements.
• Comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal Northern Trust policies and standards.
